Paid Ads Management for DTC Brands
What is paid traffic?
Paid traffic is attention you buy directly, through ads on platforms like Meta, Google and Amazon. It's the fastest and most controllable of the four engines, because spend can move in hours. It also stops the moment the budget does, so it has to be managed against revenue you can reconcile with your store, not platform-reported vanity metrics.
Paid is one of the four traffic engines C4 runs together. Creator video from borrowed traffic feeds the creative, organic content warms up the audience, and owned channels turn first orders from paid into repeat customers.
Meta ads
Facebook and Instagram run as an acquisition engine: creative tested weekly, spend moved daily, and a tracked revenue number you can reconcile against Shopify.
Google ads
Search, Shopping, YouTube and Performance Max campaigns built around intent, so you capture the demand your other channels create.
Amazon ads
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns, plus the listing optimization that decides whether the click converts.

Common questions
Do we need to hand over our ad accounts?
No. We request partner or manager access to your ad accounts, so you keep ownership of the accounts, the pixels and the audiences. If we part ways, nothing leaves with us.
Who makes the creative?
Either side can. Many brands shoot their own and we handle concepting, editing and iteration. If you'd rather not, Content Army creators can produce it, or we can coach your team on what to shoot.
How long before we see results?
Tracking and structure fixes usually show inside the first month. Meaningful scale decisions need a full creative testing cycle, so judge the work at ninety days, not thirty.
What's the minimum ad spend?
Our lowest tier starts at $3K a month in ad spend. Below that, the testing volume isn't there to learn from and you're better off putting the money into creative.
Which platform should we start with?
Usually the one where your customers already spend their time and your creative is strongest. For many DTC brands that means Meta first, with Google Search and Shopping capturing the demand it creates. The audit tells us what's right for you.
